“Coggan’s musical story-telling is outstanding, as is his singing and playing."

SECRETS AND REGRETS
NEW SINGLE

Secrets and regrets, we all have them, things we would do differently if given the chance.

In his deeply personal new offering, Darren confronts life’s inner hurdles that come to haunt us and balances the profound sorrow of goodbye with a beautiful, ultimate message of hope and healing.

The raw honesty of the songs’ lyric explores the ache of wanting to rewrite history while grappling with the scars and the heavy burden when things are left unsaid. It honours the beautiful highs of an intense love and allows the listener to reflect upon the notion that life can be complicated.

“This song is a little more vulnerable than I’ve been willing to be before and I guess writing it was somewhat of a therapy session for me.” Darren shares. “We all make mistakes and we all have days that we wish we could start over again. Tell the ones you hold close, that you love them, every day, life is short.”

With a swag of Golden Guitars, Independent Country Music Awards and the coveted Toyota Star Maker under his belt, Darren has carved an impressive career in the Australian country music industry, defined by authenticity and connection. Darren’s last two single releases, ‘Always Believe In Love’ and ‘First Light’, were both warmly embraced by radio, hitting the number one position on the AMPRAP Country/Blues & Roots charts and Australian Country Radio charts respectively. In the wake of that success, Darren continues to do what he’s always done best; connect, and his new offering, ‘Secrets And Regrets’, will no doubt shine its own light into the hearts of music fans alike.
