"If I Had My Time Again" marks the welcome return to the Australian Country Music scene for singer, songwriter, actor and television presenter, Darren Coggan. This is the first single to be lifted from Darren's stunning album "Balancing Act".
Produced by 2002 CMAA record producer of the year, Nash Chambers, "Balancing Act" contains twelve powerful songs that are bold, spirited and passionate.
"If I Had My Time Again" is a song penned by Darren's long time friend and co-writer Ken McBeath.
"It is one of the best songs I've ever had the privelege of singing." commented Darren. "It is a song about a young mother reflecting on all the things she might have been, 'If I Had My Time Again'. The song has a great twist when she realises that she has two beautiful children and given the chance to do it all differently she wouldn't change a thing."
Since the release of his debut album "hometown" in August 1997, a lot has happened in Darren's life, both professionally and personally. He had grown as a performer, songwriter and as a person. His new album "Balancing Act" reflects those changes, no more so that in his first offering, "If I Had My Time Again".
