I have been a huge fan of Cat Stevens and his music from an early age, in fact some of the very first songs I learned to play on the guitar were indeed Cat Stevens songs. Over the years I, like many others in the singer/songwriter genre, have been inspired by not only the lyrics and music of this great songsmith, but by the compassion and peaceful ideals that he lives by to this day. His desire for the world to live in harmony is a great legacy by which we should all aspire as human beings.

'Moonshadows' made its debut performance on July 13, 2006 at the Civic Theatre Wagga Wagga, my hometown. The response to the show was overwhelming with the entire season selling out. It was fascinating to see such a strong interest from such a broad cross section of society; teenagers to grandparents alike filled the house each night.

To share the stage with the wonderful performers you see with me is always a joy. They are all close friends and some of the most gifted musicians in Australia. I'm particularly proud to be working alongside my very talented sister, Naomi, the musical director of 'Moonshadows'. She continues to be the backbone of my music career.

Cat's songs and his message of peace, understanding and tolerance are as important in our world today as they were when he first wrote them, perhaps a lot more so. It is indeed a great privilege to perform his songs and to tell his story. I consider it a tremendous responsibility to do justice to the man, his music, and his fans.

So, sit back, relax and feel free to go wherever the music takes you. I truly hope you enjoy 'Moonshadows'.

"Now I've been happy lately, thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be, something good has begun"

Peace Train, Cat Stevens
