Jack began his professional music career at age 9, singing in numerous productions with the Australian Opera whilst learning piano. He then attended a specialist music school in Melbourne and began his obsession with all things drums! Jack aced his music exams scoring one of the highest Drumkit CAT exams on record and won every State and National award on offer with the Blackburn High Stage Band.

In first year of college, aged 18, Jack won the open division of the prestigious, "Australia's Best Up and Coming Drummer Competition", whilst studying with Australia's most respected drummers. This led him to touring the world for the next 4 years and his theatre credits include national tours of shows – GREASE, SHOUT! and HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH.

Jack plays regularly with The Australian Showband, numerous rock and jazz groups, and has played in over 20 countries around the world including China and throughout Europe.

He has twice been a featured artist in national drum magazine, Drumscene and holds international endorsements with Sleishman Drums and Sabian Cymbals and is a regular clinician for Sleishman.

Jack’s time is currently split between his online teaching site Icanplaydrums.com - which has over 50,000 members worldwide and has produced 5 DVDs - and local freelance gigs. Jack is also a licensed personal trainer.
